Questions and answers

The short version of how Fesac Ticket works, whether you’re going out or running the night.

For ticket buyers

How do I get my tickets?

Right after you pay, your tickets open on screen with a QR code for each person. They’re also saved under My tickets if you were signed in, and the order link works on any phone.

How can I pay?

Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, pay-later plans and Canadian bank debit, all through Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

Why can’t I see the address of some events?

Some hosts keep the location private until the day. Once you have a ticket, the address shows on your order page.

Can I get a refund?

If an event is cancelled, you get the ticket price back. Other refund requests are handled by the event’s host; contact them from the event page.

Bought tickets while signed in? Find them in My tickets.

For organizers

How much does it cost to sell tickets?

Free events are free. On paid tickets there’s a small service fee per ticket: on a $50.00 ticket it’s $2.74. You choose whether buyers pay it or you cover it.

How do I get paid?

Connect your Canadian bank account in Wallet (it takes a few minutes through Stripe). Ticket money goes straight to your Stripe balance and is paid out to your bank on a rolling schedule.

How do I check people in at the door?

Open your event in the dashboard and choose Check in. Scan each QR code with your phone’s camera, or type the code printed on the ticket.

Can I sell group tickets or a VIP table on Fesac Ticket?

Yes. Set a group size on a ticket type, for example 4 for a group ticket or 6 for a booth. Each person in the group gets their own QR code.
